He is a Graduate Engineer with more than thirty five (35) years of experience in operations, engineering and Risk assessment of upstream and downstream oil & gas industry.
In his present role, he is responsible for IRCA operations in India for last 15 years. Earlier he served 9 years in DNV Technica responsible for their Risk Assessment & HSE Management System Consultancy business in India and 10 years in ONGC, first 4 years in operations of offshore process platforms and later in Safety & Environment Management Cell and Risk & Reliability Analysis Group of IEOT.
He is also a TÜV SÜD “Certified Functional Safety Expert” (ID: TP17010826) to facilitate SIL studies

He is a M. Tech in Chemical Engineer (1968) with more than 13 years experience as process safety consultant, specialized in HAZOP/HAZID studies and QRA using SAFETI software for chemical plants, Oil & Gas installations and pipelines. He has worked 30 years in fertilizer plants in production, technical services and projects disciplines. For last 8 years he is serving as principle engineer in IRCA. He is also TÜV SÜD “Certified Functional Safety Professional” (ID: TP11050386) to facilitate SIL studies.

He is a Chemical Engineer (1968) with more than 10 years experience as process safety consultant, specialized in HAZOP/HAZID studies, Safety Audits, Safety Studies & Safety Training for chemical plants, Oil & Gas installations and pipelines. He has worked 4 years as Managing Director of Indian Additives Limited as Chevron Oronite’s nominee & 24 years in design, construction and operation of fertilizer (ammonia / urea) plants in Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd. For last 4 years he is serving as principle engineer in IRCA. He is also a TÜV SÜD “Certified Functional Safety Professional” (ID: TP16051244) to facilitate SIL studies.

He is a B.E. in Chemical Engineering with Post-Diploma in Industrial Safety, from Regional Labor Institute, Kanpur. He has 35 years of work experience first as safety officer and then Sr. Manager (Fire & Safety) in IFFCO. He has been actively involved in carrying out safety audits and imparting trainings on HSE related topics to a wide industrial clients in India as well as abroad

35 years in the fertilizer plants – erection, commissioning and operation of electrical installations (including equipment for classified areas) and gas turbine generator systems with natural gas fuel. Worked on operation and maintenance of a large receiving station of 200 MVA capacity and operating at 66 KV, different types of circuit breakers, including DC circuit breakers. For the past 12 years working as a consultant Electrical Engineer for conducting electrical safety audits, electrical risk assessment and hazardous area classification for power plants, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, steel plants, pharmaceutical plants, LPG storage and bottling plants, oil installations etc

And also have experience in PHA Pro/ PHA Works for HAZOP studies and exSILentia Software for SIL Analysis.
He has participated in numbers of HAZOP, HAZID & SIL classification and verification studies for Oil & Gas installations. He is also TÜV SÜD “Certified Functional Safety Professional” (ID: TP14050798) to facilitate SIL studies.
